Studio A is designed for artists, producers and writers who want a focused, high quality environment to create at a professional level.

It is ideal for vocal recording, production sessions, writing camps and small label sessions, whether you are working solo or with a tight team.

Studio A suits serious creatives who value great sound, comfort and an efficient workflow, and who want a space that supports both creativity and high end results.

How do I book a studio session?

All bookings are done online via the homepage of our website. You can schedule and pay for your sessions directly there. An email and/or text message confirmation will be sent to you upon payment.

How much does it cost to book?

Our rates for Studio A and Studio B are available via the homepage of our website.. All sessions come with an engineer.

 Where are you based?

The Nest is based in Streatham, South London. Our full address is: The Nest Studios, 205 Gleneldon Mews, Streatham, London, SW16 2AZ

Closest Train Station: 3 Minute Walk from Streatham Station (Not Streatham Hill or Streatham Common)

 Is there parking?

Yes, there is limited parking available. On-street parking is available on either Bournevale Road or Stanthorpe Road (1 Minute Walk away from the studio).

 Is it wheelchair accessible?

No it is not, sorry.

What’s the difference between Studio A & Studio B?

Studio A is our main studio. It is the bigger studio and is fully acoustically treated. Designed to hold between 1-8 people. Studio A includes a large isolated vocal booth room and a lounge area with a TV, Games console and sofas. Studio A also has a DJ booth area. Studio A is perfect for recording sessions for singers, rappers, choirs, musicians, and podcasters.

 Studio B is our smaller room. It is mainly suited for writing and production sessions that include fewer people (1-4 people max).  Studio B also has vocal booth and can be used to record also. Studio B has a lower hourly rate than Studio A.

 Do you have WiFi?

Yes, we do have WiFi available. The details will be provided to you free of charge when you arrive.

Do all sessions come with an engineer?

Yes, all sessions come with an engineer. You can read more about our team of engineers HERE

 What about mixing & mastering?

We do offer mix and master services.

 We also offer a fully-online mix/mastering service where you can upload the stem files of your track(s) and our engineers will mix and master the track and send it back to you. This can be done virtually, without booking an in-person studio session.

 Do I have to purchase a beat lease from the producer to release the song we made in the studio?

Yes. If a producer makes a custom beat for you in the studio, you still need to purchase the rights to use that beat for your release. This is separate to the cost of a studio session at The Nest.

What if I am late?

Your session will begin at the time that it was booked for and will last until the time it is set to finish. If you arrive more than 40 minutes late, the engineer can decide to cancel your session and late arrival sessions are non-refundable.

Can I bring people? If so, how many?

You are welcome to have some friends in the room with you during your session.

Studio A: Max 9 people

Studio B: Max 3 people

However, they enter as your guests, and you take full responsibility for their actions and behaviour whilst at The Nest Studios. This means if they break any of the rules you will be financially liable for any damage.

 I left something of mine in the studio by accident!

We keep all lost property in our safe. Please WhatsApp us (+44 7867 040 738) and let us know what you left. We will arrange a time for you to come and pick it up.
